After receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the
University of New Hampshire, Andrea decided to remain in New Hampshire
and attend law school. Andrea attended Franklin Pierce Law Center (now
the University of New Hampshire School of Law) and received her J.D. in 1997.
Following law school Andrea began working for a small general practice
Goffstown law firm and then practiced in Concord and Berlin, New Hampshire
with the Crisp & Associates law firm (and its successors) from 2000
until that firm joined the Wiggin & Nourie law firm in Manchester
in 2008. Andrea remained with the Wiggin & Nourie firm until joining
Shaheen & Gordon in 2012.
Throughout her career, Andrea has handled a wide variety of legal matters
for clients in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, including
divorce and family law matters, business and real estate disputes, probate
litigation, workers compensation and personal injury matters. In recent
years, Andrea has concentrated primarily on divorce, parenting, child
support and other family law matters.
Andrea is an active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, currently
serving on the Delivery of Legal Services Committee, is a frequent volunteer
for the New Hampshire Pro Bono Program, regularly accepting pro bono cases
and assisting with pro bono case reviews, and has been on the faculty
of several continuing legal education programs on family law, including
Basic Family Law in 2010 and Divorce Camp in 2011.
